The Colorado Foundation for Universal Health Care develops ideas for, and educates the public about, health care development proposals that provide quality universal coverage, are fiscally responsible, and are advantageous to consumers, providers and employers.
The Colorado Foundation for Universal Healthcare is an accredited 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to informing policy that supports affordable, universal healthcare to all Coloradans. The Foundation recognizes our acute need to create a system to provide for our health care in a way that is both cost effective and provides quality care for all.
Full implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) will still leave many Coloradans uncovered and costs escalating. However, federal reform invites states to pursue innovations that meet or exceed its requirements.
