Spring Forward for UHC

Activists in action…
If everyone had health care, Imagine the impact
  • Every Coloradan able to focus on their lives, health, and work without stressing about how to pay for health care.
  • Businesses freed to focus on business, pay competitive salaries, and know their people will have health care when they need it
  • A just society, where meeting basic human needs like health care is just the right thing to do.

This is our shared vision!

We can’t do this alone. We need you.
and see universal health efforts multiply.
Here’s just some of the work your contribution today makes possible:
Campaign to “Keep Universal Health Care on the Table”
By talking to our legislators, we’ve kept universal health care on the table this year in the form of the Health Care Cost Analysis Act, HB19-1176. It’s passed the House and is now in the Senate.

Candidate surveys and candidate liaisons

Through our candidate surveys and candidate liaisons, we have kept you informed of how each of the candidates for office ranked on their support of universal health care.

The political race is on for 2020. The Foundation will repeat its successful candidate survey and rating system before the primaries.
The Foundation has become the organization that develops the plans, proposals, and legislation that provides a focus for the developing support for universal health care.

Growing the grassroots and gearing up for summer
Together with our partners, the Foundation is helping host “What is Medicare for All” forums across Colorado, and we recently held the first meeting of Colorado Medical Professionals for Universal Health, a group formed at the new members’ request!

Speaking of joining us: Save the Date for our 4th Annual Universal
Health Care conference: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 29.

Wendell Potter, a health insurance company executive turned whistle blower, will give the keynote address. He is now the executive director of Business Initiative for Health Policy, a group promoting universal health care.
Biz outreach
Our business outreach is headed by two former CFOs of large national corporations who are amassing the support of business owners across the state.
To keep it going and keep the movement growing,
We must raise $15,000 by the end of May!
Contribute what you can today.
Can we count on you?
Thank you!
